Last post before the Big Surgery

Well, this is the last post I am going to write before I go in for my surgery tomorrow. Check out this post to see what the surgical plan is. I took the double antibiotic pills (which gave me some nausea but not too bad) this afternoon, and have my special antibiotic soap to use in a shower tonight and tomorrow morning. The laxative bowel prep has really done a number on me; I’m weak as a kitten. I’ve tidied up the house and my affairs as much as I can. I got some good yard work in yesterday and today, which felt nice.

I’m nervous about tomorrow, and anxious to have the surgery over and done with. I’m ready to focus on healing. This is a short post, but I’ll have more to say after the surgery!
